Protostats web site statistical analysis package
Protstats is a statistics collection and analysis tool designed and developed by Protomatter Web Solutions. It was initially designed for use on the Protomatter site itself due to a lack of detail in many of the available solutions we examined. It has since evolved to become an independent product in it's own right.
Protostats features
Protostats records the following information:
- Date/time of hit
- Web browser
- Operating system
- Screen resolution
- Screen colour depth
- Referring URL
Protostats will also build up a 'traffic' map of your site showing your most popular pages, and the path visitors take through your site, allowing you to tailor your site's content to fit visitor needs.
Protostats privacy for your visitors
Protostats does not record uniquely identifying data from your (or our!) visitors, meaning that the privacy of visitors to your web site is maintained at all times, and they cannot be identified via the information collected through Protostats. In today's information age privacy is becoming a major concern for web surfers - with our product your visitors can rest easy in the knowledge that you respect their right to privacy.
Protostats requirements
Protostats is designed to operate with ASP 3.0 and VBScript, so if your web host supports this then you can simply install it on your web server and have it functional within minutes.
